A self-taught photographer, most noted for ‘front-page’ murder scene photos. Black and white images taken with a 4x5 Speed Graphic. Later in his career, he was more of a personality with a camera. His celebrity caricatures (manipulations easily today with Photoshop) were milestones in technique, the most famous Marilyn Monroe “Kiss”. A street photographer, a crime reporter, a paparazzi for the most part, with an eye for what sells. Bill Kraus

Wonderfully composed and often utilizing warm golden light this itinerant community is imbued with a sense of freedom, beauty and adventure.
