David Doubilet is an award-winning underwater photographer from New York. He is a contributing photographer for National Geographic where he has published over 60 stories. He is the inventor of the "split-lens" camera, which allows one to take pictures both above and below water at the same time. In addition to his beautiful use of color and light, Doubilet seems to have an impressive knack for capturing images at just the right moment.
