Michael Taylor is an Irish photographer born in 1963.  He holds multiple degrees in fine art, design, computer science, and zoology.  His work is generally abstract, and focuses heavily on experimentation with light.  His series "Wave" is especially interesting to me: here, images of light waves were projected onto the figure through water, glass, air, or other materials.  Apparently this produces such an awesome effect that no digital manipulation is needed.  The top of his website reads: "An abstract approach to photography involving light and humanity.  Light is the subject".  This guy is so cool.  I'd like to think that maybe we're related.  ~Hannah Taylor~
