Duane Michals is a self -taught photographer mainly known for his work with series, multiple exposures, and text. The sense of mystery that he brings to his work really intrigues me, and its amazing how he is able to evoke such strong emotions with his photographs. He believed that a photograph was not meant to capture the appearance of a situation, but the experience and feelings involved.
