Miru Kim is a New York Photographer
who has explored, documented and photographed various urban settings including
abandoned subway stations, tunnels, factories, hospitals and shipyards. “Naked
City Spleen” is a series of photos of herself nude in these settings. I admire
the way she perceives the environment around her in a different light than most. She
believes that a city has a complex anatomy and psyche, similar to the human
body.
