The photographer I am interested in
this week is named Levi Wedel. He states
that he is interested in the perceived and constructed appearances of objects
and places. He shoots mainly urban
landscapes, many of which occur in very interesting lighting environments. I like how he is able to capture interesting
emotions through his work and mainly due to the lighting. While there isn’t a static theme of lighting
in his photos, many of them use different colors of light that originates
within the frame. His work is supposed
to show/pose a question of the possibilities of the appearance of a specific
object or place. Two of his series show most of what i am interested in, lucid dreaming and invisible city.
